Objective morality

Good and evil may be more than human conventions: they may name relations that sustain or destroy the development of living subjects.

If values grow from the organization of life, morality cannot be reduced entirely to individual taste or an era’s agreement. We may misjudge an action, but the possibility of error itself suggests a reality against which the judgment can be tested.

Aletophany seeks this reality not in a finished heavenly code, but in the consequences of relations. An action is morally significant insofar as it expands or suppresses subjectivity, knowledge, cooperation, and continued development. This formula needs testing: life conflicts with life, and short-term benefit may cause long-term destruction.

Objectivity therefore does not mean a simple table of correct answers. It is a research programme: connect experienced values with the observable structure of living systems, then test moral claims by how well they explain the world without arbitrary exceptions.
